Practices that are good at getting/keeping visitors/customers/members, and do NOT cause excessive problems for anyone involved.

Practices that, while they may or may not be successful, do not work the way they should. This especially includes practices that draw people in to scam them, provide "hidden fees," and other underhanded tactics no one (but the business owners) ever like.

Not sure if it's really good or bad? Maybe it isn't either...or maybe it's just controversial. If you aren't sure, post it here!
